Can't see the Diouf link being any more than a rag top stab at a headline.
The more I think about the appointment of SA the more I see this as a real opportunity for this club to finally throw of it's semi professional shackles and move forwards. Good luck to SA and here's to a more professional approach to winning games and hopefully building a team that will eventually be capable of doing it with West Ham style and flair.

There is no way in this world that SA will allow players to put in half an effort, let alone no effort, every one of them will have to give 100%. Not only that but the new manager needs to be a strong character that can put up with and mix it with the Dave’s and Brady, someone strong enough to tell them to shut up and get on with their side of getting this club back on its feet. Of all the names banded about I believe only SA is a strong enough character. I, like all WH fans want to see us play great football but I want to see us doing it in the top half of the prem. I also believe that SA wants to see this as well and I also believe he can build a side that can play attractive football. SA is a realist and he produces sides that are difficult to beat with limited funds, but who of us knows whether given the right conditions and funds he can’t build a side that is attractive to watch. I think most top flight managers are capable of doing this but the ones that are at (smaller) clubs have to cut their cloth accordingly if they wish to have any type of success and stay in a job. This club needs changing and it needs a new winning belief. I for one am hoping SA can start the rebuild.
