One would think that even the die-hard Islamists in the Middle East would see through this hackneyed diversionary move. Ok, maybe they are so utterly blinded by their Islamist hatred for infidels, especially Jews, that this diatribe sounds like fresh news.

The Dec 2012 Mayan Apocalypse thing is looking like a pretty good bet, well at least in Islamo-world. The inhabitants are a combination of evil and nuts, so at the end of the day the world will be a better place when they join the missing Imam-theothug in "Paradise".

The word "trust" is used way too naively. Should we "trust" the Chinese? Well of course! We should TRUST them to be duplicitous as they have been for CENTURIES! It's an accepted and well accepted part of their culture, well entrenched way before the communists took over, but of course they did put an even more sinister spin on the types of duplicity. Any rational person would completely and totally "trust" the Chinese to be completely and totally dishonest in ALL dealings less being honest worked to their benefit. Well duh! History deficient???

OK, I grant that is was a good move on his part to promote science and innovation using the "bully pulpit" of the White House. Even Obama occasionally does something reasonable just like my broken watch is right twice every day. He did OK keeping the USA out of "holding the bag" for the Libya mess as well. And now about other 100's of things he has made a mess of... My dead cat, and she was a very good one, would have been a better POTUS - sorry kitty, not much of a compliment!

Are the thug-theocracies of the Middle East worse than the secular thugocracies of the world? By shear body count, the communists take the cake with say 20 million or so for Mao and friends, 12 million or so for Stalin and friends, 2 million for Pol Pot, a few 100 thousand for Castro, ... The Muslims have butchered perhaps 3 million, perhaps the majority being the Armenians, but including who knows how many suffocated under the Islamic yoke and scimtar as they slashed their way thru the Middle East.

Body count aside, my feeling is that the depravities of Islamic culture against women, infidels and young boys are a more hideous threat to mankind - the slow death of joy rather than a quick death. I do hope that our leaders have the courage to deal with this threat as it must be.

Isn't all the focus on "perceived racism" a colossal bore? The most racist people on the planet are the "race pimps" of the liberal leftist persuasion who thinks this subject is more important to the future of mankind, than well... anything! Such pathetic little people!

Obama and Chavez are indeed "blood brothers" in the realm of demagoguery. Ok, Hugo is more likely to "bump off" his opponents, but beyond that there is little difference. Neither can be considered "competent" in any field other than demagoguery.

Kudos to Rubio for being an honest to goodness legit American citizen. Our liberal leftist "progressive" elites cannot relate to "doing the right thing", it's always and only "what's in it for me!?" "Undocumented" immigration is "illegal" immigration - no subtleties needed. Pandering is the tool of demagogues, which is of course EXACTLY what the Obamacrats are. Wish I felt that many of our politicians of EITHER party were more interested in what's good for our country than what's good for them, here and now! If so, then they would attack the grotesquely lavish benefits they bestow on themselves - dream on!

Truly ANY threat by North Korea should be defied asap - UNLESS it is an obvious ruse to provoke South Korea to do something obviously and overtly counterproductive, e.g. North Korea says "don't shoot yourself in the foot". That said, MAYBE the prudent approach is to simply IGNORE whatever threats come from the North Koreans express, period, plain and simple. Yes, I think that's it!

Honestly, prostitutes, drug dealers, used car salesmen,... they are all less criminal/immoral in their behavior than our ruling elites. Which of these slimeballs has fought to reduce their overtly lavish salaries and benefits down to the level of the median taxpayer who is in theory their employer? Ok, and about the overtly immoral and criminal--expect--for--self-serving--loopholes insider trading practices - and just how does this differ from the behavior of the greedy CEOs? Are not these people made of the same cloth?
