I've never actually used DXE, Tam, so I couldn't say how much I like it.

My switches to Skada and BigWigs were entirely motivated by desires to
reduce resource utilzation by addons, and DBM and Recount tend to bloat
like Microsoft programs. I might have to give DXE a whirl at some point.

Indeed, we were somewhat surprised that the one 'true hardcore' guild
(Bane, a Horde guild - the type that all take time off work/school when
a raid is released to push progression) hadn't gotten it yet.

I joined Insomnia just after Icecrown came out, and my previous guild
had been stuck on heroic Beasts, so I hadn't even seen heroic Anub until
later in the Icecrown cycle. For that matter, I hadn't seen Algalon
until a few weeks ago, either, but it was still fun to go do that too!

Indeed, the army trick is well-known in general, but yes, many do not
know it.... Especially the part about getting it off before you get in
combat so you can double pot. That's why a pet peeve of mine is tanks
not giving a consistent and regular pull countdown. My tanks aren't very
good about it, but I've learned that when the ready check comes back as
'all ready,' I start my summon immediately. Occasionally it results in a
botched army launch when someone panics and says 'wait!' but usually
once the RL says everyone is ready, the tank starts countdown a second
or so later and if I summon army quickly enough, I can get that double
pot off. 'Little things,' indeed. :)

I certainly won't object!
I have my week off already approved, but if it's earlier as long as
Blizz gives us enough notice, I'll be fine. As much as I'd like to play
hooky, I can't in good conscience skip work without advance notice.
I know beta still has lots of rough spots and Blizz won't give us a firm
date until they feel comfortable launch will go reasonably well, but I
do hope it happens *soon*!
