In Gav's scenario, It would depend on Kevin Nolan, if he had a history of disruptive, and morally "suspect" behaviour, and was representing West Ham on a large stage, then I would think the owners have a right to remove him from what should be a diplomatic position as well as a playing one. Especially if his behaviour had previously forced team players to leave and now might cause a rift in the team. Equally Big Sam would have an equal right to resign.
You would like to think that the owners and manager would sort this out in private and then present a united front, but who knows.

I only saw a spotty feed, (but am getting the full game later ) but did you guys at the game feel we played much more on the ground and less hoofball than usual. It looked a nicer class of play than recently.

I'm sure Green booting it up the field is an instruction. I seem to recall him bowling the ball out very ably and fast in previous seasons to allow a fast build up

Very sad, but he's apparently paid a fraction of the field players wages, so who can blame him. If it was me in my regular job I think I'd do the same, and you can hardly say he isn't playing his best while he's still here. I'd love to keep him though

It is a lot of money, but we have to stop being a "selling" team and this is a good place to start. Tonks has been maybe the only constant in the back 4 this season, and a settled defence is needed for our promotion push.
I also think he will be of great value in the Prem, hopefully next year. So a resounding NO to Newcastle, unless of course they would do a straight swap with Ba, I'd even throw in Piqiuonne :)
