Although I don't own any weapons, I don't agree with gun control, as I think it's a bad Idea to arm only the cops and the criminals,. That being said, through my Army Reserve training I do know how to use them, specificaly the 45 cal. hand gun, FN 7.62 and 9 mil. SMG. Oh, and we got to throw grenades, that was real fun.

I haven't seen a whole lot of "endorsing Harper for PM" yet. What I have seen are people who are passionate about Freedom, Liberty and how great this country is. That's unusual and refreshing. There are a lot of things I disagree about from the Tories. But for someone who leans Libertarian, a choice between The Left , The Far Left and The Centre Right, I'm going right.

I was reading an editorial online from the Vancouver Sun today (can't find a link unfortunately), kvetching about the need for the government to legislate the amount of salt and fat in our food. Well let's see, in the first half hour of Ezra Levant's show The Source, he displayed the Danish cartoons that got him into so much trouble in Alberta and caused riots around the world. You'll never see that anywhere else in Canada. On Brian Lilly's show Byline, he spent a good amount of time bashing the state run CBC, always fun to watch. Americans have no idea how long conservative Canadians have been waiting for some straight and politicaly incorrect talk on issues that matter to Canadians. Let the goring of the sacred cows begin.

John, a similar thing is happening here in Canada. Most Americans don’t know that we are in the middle of a election (voting May 2). And because most of the media in Canada is progressive, starting with the $1.5 billion a year, tax payer funded CBC, the predominant narrative is negative against the minority Conservative government. This of course is aided and abetted by Google News Canada. Type in Stephen Harper (our Conservative Prime Minister) and this is what you get.
