If the FCC tracking facility tries to track your signal, yes they can get close to where the signal is coming from....but they cannot pinpoint the exact location. They need a crew in a roving vehicle to pinpoint the location. But if you just listen then they have no way to know...also if you only transmit from locations away from home, then they cannot track the signal to you. If you decide you want one, I will gladly donate one to the cause....
