Guy Davidi ( co-director of "5 Broken Cameras ") declared , straight after the nomination of "5 Broken Cameras ", that the Documentary do not represent Israel. Anyway in the category of Best Documentary the films who are nominated do not respresent a country , like in the Best Foreign Language Film. ( and even then you can discuss the fact that if you, as a Director, represent a country )

I missed in the article the names of the Directors,so:
"The Gatekeepers" is directed by Dror Moreh ( picture in this article ) and "5 Broken Cameras ", is directed by Emad Burnat & Guy Davidi.

sorry,3 more floors..this is not the first time of such a building-proccess with the older Bauhaus-buildings.If you are interested,I can send you some pictures of such "addings"

Bart,in the first place,it can be sold of course.The new owners will restore the facade and the whole building..then they will add two floors,in the same "style" but more backwards on the top..

Rita,the MANI-HOUSE( the 2nd house ) was build during the ACHUZAT-BAIT period(1909-1911) and restored by Amnon Bar-Or.
The AKIVA WEISS house was build in 1909(true,he added in 1932 a floor) and was restored too by Amnon Bar-Or.The French Institute today,on the corner of Herzl-street and Rothschild-boulevard was the 9th house of Tel-Aviv( also here was a floor added in 1934).Amnon Bar-Or restored the building in 2004/5 and added an other floor.Just a few examples...
