1) if you can't focus, it's because you haven't decided what is the right project for it - and that may not be an indicator of the fact that you just "can't focus", but the fact that you have not found the RIGHT project that you will passionnate you enought , (well, that's what I realized as far as I am concerned) ;
2) the ability to focus is closely related to the ability to delegate. Obvious statement, yes, but delegating is extremely complex : you have to trust, entitle, instruct, educate, and verify anyway.
My suggestion for 2010 :
- Focus on thinking about what's the best project for you that's worth having you... 100% focused and immersed on it ;
- Second step : then focus on how you will organize your ability to focus on the chosen project,
- and then : just... focus on it.
But don't forget my friend : I keep as always looking up on you, you're a great model.

I couldn't say any better how I agree. But I add this : by working with confidence and passion, not only you learn, but you discover news leads and possibilities. When I started www.TechToc.Tv I swear I thought we would remain small and just nice with 20 contributors ! Now in less than 3 months with our social web-tv platform we have a great, active community and 200 contributors ! All of them top professionnal !
So just start somewhere, and trust life as if it was a taxi driver : seat down, don't think too much about the destination and look at the window : enjoy the view, learn from it, take pleasure!

(usually I follow your advices and I still am amazed by your difficulty to become a fan of Mozart - but I understand better now, while reading you, that you cannot have the same point of view as a the great piano player you are : your ear is not the same as people like me who only listen!)
