It was a little disappointing and maybe that's because Edgar Wright wasn't involved with this like he is with most other Pegg and Frost projects. Still, I liked the fact that Wiig, Bateman, Rogen and Hader were in it.

IMDB has it listed for April 2011, but they've been wrong plenty of times before. As for reviews, they were kinda mixed except for the consensus that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was amazing.

I've never seen an episode of Speed Racer before and then when it did poorly at the box office I kinda lost interest in watching. I should have known from past experience that the box office take doesn't always equate to how much I'm gonna like a film.

At least I've seen it now, and it's a gloriously fun and exciting movie.

Maybe the best "review" so far but it's a shame I had to watch the worst film so far to do it.

I do know that Sheldon is the only reason the show's popular. But that doesn't make it a good show.

5/10 is 50%. That's average. 60% is a little above average and that's the feeling I get from the script. As a sci-fi action flick I think it'll be fairly decent (assuming they do the aliens well) but it's Downey and Witherspoon who will make it better. There's every likelihood that the finished film will rate higher but what's on the page is to me just above average.

I know they don't really compare, but I liked the script for Knowing more than The Days Before.

The main guy Dave/Kick-Ass was certainly trying to resolve his own conflicts, and I'd say Hit Girl and Big Daddy were too. As for the rest I'm not so sure. I don't know if I'd classify the film as a comic or superhero thing. If Watchmen was a step away from the superhero genre then I'd say Kick-Ass is a further step away. It's much more of a vigilante in costume story than a superhero one.
