Cool it - No one said anything about Dan is Perfect or Antonio is a JERK. You said it yourself. If you read carefully - I said Antonio IS DIFFERENT. Even if Dan pulled little Vern or David or whomever - at least - his style is prefferred by many people and that's my style as well. Am sure there are many people - like yourself - would prefer Antonio's taste.
As far as Dan mistake cost Torie a shot??? Don't forget Antonio DELIBERATELY MEANT NOT TO GET TORI'S PAINT. Sure, he stood up for his belief - But there are many ways to speak up than backstabbing your team. Now, that was NO MISTAKE - He admitted that he DELIBERATELY DIDN"T GET TORI PAINT ON PURPOSE. You just don't do that to people. He could have handled it better w/ little class perhaps.
Dan built many things w/ his own hands that I think you've overlooked and haven't credited him for his creativities.

Agree - The comment maybe a bit harsh but also agree with Mickey that Antonio's taste is just not too many people would like to see in their home.

I agreed and was shocked that Candice giggled on the last reveal Antonio did. But atleast, she did mentioned that Antonio didn't have a clue what he was doing, things just happened that they tied together. But Vern and Gen complimented him left and right. Especially Gen, she couldn't find any fault in Antonio on the final challenge. Well, we all know Gen doesn't impress a whole lot of folks out there. Maybe because she's in the same era w/ Antonio's.

Anyone here understand what it was written above? Oh, only Antonio can understand this kind of rubbish. Take your beer, go to your garage, celebrate with your Antonio on poor garage design! That's exactly where you guys belong, GARAGE!

I thank you so much. You're too kind. I did emailed him. Hopefully he would acknowledge my email and not turning down the challenge. Am sure he has thousand of emails flooding in and extremely busy w/ his new on-line show.

I think it was more Gen and Vern than Candice. Candice was out number. Gen was all over Antonio.

when clicked on the Email Dan (from his website) it routed me to do the "pop" and my email / pc doesn't allow it so.. no luck. Unless I have his email address directly. That bites!

Reading through some of the comments (both Dan's and Antonio's fans) - This is what HGTV wants to see... they achieved their goal "making things interesting" and "entertaining." Different strokes for different folks! Antonio's designs maybe are brilliant to some people out there - It just that most of us preferred Dan's designs and his matter and well groom. But base on all the comments between the two designers' project from the judges - seems that Dan got more positive than Antonio's and Antonio's IS DIFFERENT and HGTV needs this difference from Antonio to "entertain" their viewers.
Got a chance to watch Antonio's project - it just CONFIRMED to me that Dan's designs are far more better for my taste. Not saying that Antonio's are bad (am sure there are folks who prefer Antonio's taste.)
Dan still have my vote and would give him a project (a very challenging project) if I can only know how to contact Dan or HGTV directly.

Alright.... Lots of folks tuned in & watched Antonio's project which only CONFIRMED to us that Dan's TRULY one talented designer. No but, no if, no doubt!

wonder if Dan had won, will Antonio's fans sing the same tune? So easy to say "trashing" things on the "winning" side. Oh, wait, not winning because he's good because he's "abnormal" to TV show.
