Remember Nancy Pelosi's remark about that we need to vote for the bill so we can see what's in it? Well Obama wants us to vote for the bill right now before it's even written.

You unfortunately are making what God has clearly written in Scripture and re-interpreted it using man's fallable wisdom. There is no dissagreement with Hebrew scholars that the word "Yom" translated day used in Genesis means a twenty four hour day. To make it mean millions of years is twisting scripture. If the Bible is in error describing the creation account then what else is wrong?
Do you also discount that death is the result of Adam's sin? Is Scripture incorrect that we need a saviour because of the penalty of that sin? Then how about the truth that Jesus paid for our debt on the cross?

Tolerance and peace???? Just place someone with a Bible in a muslim country. See what happens to the Bible and the one carrying it.

I read the article on the Fox site about the wounded vet speaking at Columbia University. He was treated with boos, jeers, heckeled and called racist. These students with heads full of mush should be sent on vacation to Afganistan to experience how they would be treated by the people they admire.

Merry Christmas. A familiar phrase but what does it mean? The greeting of Merry Christmas has been substituted with Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings or some equally nebulous phrase. Why? Okay not everyone believes in Christmas but why should we be ashamed of what we celebrate this time of year? Little is mentioned of the birth of Jesus Christ. It seems Christ is missing from most all activities and celebrations during this time of year. Whether Jesus was born on December 25th is unimportant. What is important is that Jesus Christ, God incarnate, took on the form of man to provide the means of our salvation. His birth was only the beginning of that process which was finished on the cross.
Now we can really rejoice. Not just this time of year but every day. We have no need to be timid or afraid that someone might be offended. We can clearly shout that Jesus Christ is born. It is the greatest gift ever given to mankind. There is nothing else that can compare. While we may exchange gifts, each and every one of these things can only offer temporary pleasure while the gift of Christ will bring a joy that never ends and lasts for all eternity.
So I wish all a Merry Christmas in the celebration of our Lord and Savior.
