IF our government decides to waste yet another $300,000.000.00+ (Yes, that's THREE HUNDRED MILLION PLUS DOLLARS!!!) on another election--the fourth in as many years--and honestly expect that this is going to change ANYTHING, I beg the people of Canada to vote GREEN and get rid of "see-saw voting" politics...we can all already see that IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK!!!

1) We're voting "Party 'A!'" Yaaaaaay!
2) Party 'A' screwed us over!
2a) We'll show them!!!
3) We're voting "Party 'B!'" Yaaaaaay!
4) Party 'B' screwed us over!
4a) We'll show them!!!
5) Be genuinely surprised when NOTHING CHANGES and things get worse, as usual.
5a) GOTO 1).

Vote GREEN. Break the cycle of willfull ignorance, and save Canada from NEXT YEAR'S $300,000,000.00+ ELECTION!!!

We're faking it just like the rest of the world is. The US collapse is not nearly over, despite what we're being told, and anyone who honestly believes that the effects to Canada are overwith is deluding themselves there as well.

Yes, Dion would have likely been worse, but as we continue to choose between three inept and corrupt parties and wonder why nothing substantial changes, we will continue to be surprised when those three parties continue to make no real beneficial changes...but why be surprised when you vote for the same things over and over again?

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again, and expecting a different result.

Change requires change. Change does not, and will never occur with the same choices being made...a new name for poverty is not going to change anything in the poor man's bank account...it still MEANS the same thing, and has the same outcome.

Agreed! Narrowmindedness is just symptom of willful ignorance and apathy.

Skip the Consiberals. Ignore the Libercratics. Waste not a single thought on the New Demerals.

Vote Green, and get REAL, lasting, and genuinely beneficial changes for Canada...that truly would be a change!

We don't need "reform" as much as we need "repairs" at this point...we need to fix what has been broken for decades before we can honestly expect to advance as a country, or as a society in more general terms.

Vote Green, they seem to be the best party available to replace those who will continue to do us damage to the point of collapse.

Hell, vote the BC Marijuana party! If nothing else, at least we'll get natural medicine access returned to the people, and taken from the hands of multinational pharmaceutical companies! It'll definitely be a change, and it sure can't be any worse than the last 4 years of seemingly daily and utterly useless elections!

All three of the established parties are an embarrassment to Canada.

It is time that we collectively realized or at least acknowledged that if we honestly want change, that we must PERFORM CHANGES which allow intelligent, respectful and honest governments to be formed in Canada. Then, and ONLY THEN, will we ever have even the slightest expectation that we will have a government that benefits the public they claim to serve.

While we have no guarantee of any form of pension we've paid our lives into, while our "public servants" are set for life after 6 months of rooting at the public trough, does this not signify the real truth behind modern-day Canadian politics, and the need to simply landfill ALL THREE existing unrepresentative parties?

The path is clear...the question is, do we make the same choices and stay on the path to our own destruction, or do we wake up and step out of our ignorance-created antipathetic nightmare?

PS: This will make 1.2 BILLION DOLLARS of tax money WASTED if we continue to bounce between the "top three parties" as I fully expect we will collectively do AGAIN...and we'll all wonder why we're broke, and why absolutely nothing has changed afterwards...as per the usual pattern.

Can we not see that we're doing the exact same thing that the US is doing? Can we not see how dismally this has failed in the US already, despite the lies we are told in the press each and every day? Must we continually buy into the "OK, so it doesn't work anywhere else on the planet...but we can make it work here, because we're Canadians!"

Larger numbers of incarcerated people do not show any progress whatsoever past a greater ability to put previously innocent people in prison. This shows absolutely no progress towards SOLUTIONS...just a better method of fooling a wilfully ignorant public into a continuation of the PROBLEMS.

Wake up and start THINKING people!

Doesn't anyone else see that bouncing back and forth between inept and corrupt political parties which perform exactly the same tasks on each iteration of power does NOTHING to benefit Canada or it's people?

Vote one of the "non-established" parties for a change, and at least then we'll have a chance for a REAL and BENEFICIAL change in Canada, instead of the same old "business as usual politics" which we've already seen does NOONE any good execept for the government, politicians, other countries, and major multinational corporations.

I'm voting GREEN again this election, whether it's in 30 days or 3 years from now...I will NOT risk another second of "Consiberal" politics continuing down the same path towards bankruptcy as they have already been on for the last 30 years or so now.

It's high time we started to think BEFORE we elect our alleged representatives, and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE WHEN THEY MAKE THINGS WORSE for Canada and it's people!!!

At least this time, we're going to know the election's coming a few days in advance!

Stephen Harper is instituting "mandatory minimum sentencing" for all forms of drug offences. Since the world has already seen that:

a) Prohibition NEVER works.
b) Mandatory minimus do NOTHING to decrease crime, but cost billions of dollars while not doing anything but build prison populations...and new prisons.
c) This is "yet another failed policy" we're about to import from the USA, which is soundly documented to have proven one of the most astonishing failures in US history, falling short only of the creation of the "Federal Reserve" system!

Harper is in the process of bankrupting Canada through sheer ignorance and ineptitude, and noone seems to care, because they are practising their willfull ignorance at every possible opportunity!

Vote GREEN this time, and give OURSELVES a fighting chance at a thoughtful and truly representative government!

We are all prepared to REFUSE to think about the REALITIES of the next election and continue on our path of "see-saw voting" to the detriment of our country. This usually works thus:

1) "We're Voting 'Party A!' Yaay! Our lives will be better! Our problems will disappear!"
2) "Uh, oh. 'Party A' lied! We'll show them!!!"
3) "We're Voting 'Party B!' Yaay! Our lives will be better! Our problems will disappear!"
4) "Uh, oh. 'Party B' lied! We'll show them!!!"
5) GOTO 1)
5a) Be genuinely surprised that NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!

We can completely skip non-renewable resources and go right to a renewable energy economy, and we can do so within a few years of getting started. The trouble is not that there is no political will to do so, but that big money interests refuse to let go of their profits in their existing markets.

If you were to take the time to find out the best possible solution (see: http://JackHerer.com for more and very detailed information on this) you would quickly see that the solutions to the vast majority of the world's problems has not only existed, but was known for millennia, and has deliberately been removed from possibility of use by making the solution illegal and keeping the public ignorant of the truth.

We need to look at REAL renewable resources that have worked very well in the past, and which can be pressed into service to clean the environment while restoring the global energy supply in a decentralized and non-corporate-controlled manner.

Lack of political will and corporate profiteering be damned...it's time that The People got off their collective lard reservoirs and did something about it themselves!
