World War... Four?

Well said. We could afford a 27,000 man army and a twelve frigate navy when 2 vast oceans counted for something AND our economy was turned almost totally inward; now that the oceans don't count and our economy is closely integrated with the rest of the world we need strong armed forces that can (working on the theory that the best defence is a good offence) project power around the world.

Sucks, but that is the reality of the situation...

Nose, this is an article from AFP (Agency France Presse) that Breibart has merely reprinted; blaming him for its content would be like yelling at Drudge for the content of a NY Times article he had linked to...

"The law signed by Governor Jan Brewer last week criminalizes undocumented immigrants and gives police power to stop people on mere suspicion of being in the country illegally."

Wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!!

Either the "jounalist" hasn't bothered to read the law, or they don't care... and are ignorant on top of it.

1) An undocumented alien is already comitting a FEDERAL crime, simply by the fact of being undocumented.

2) The law does NOT allow for people to be stopped on "mere suspicion of being in the country illegally"; it has to occur during the course of some other 'lawful contact', such as being stopped for speeding.

Stupid, ignorant, and liberal is no way to go thru life, son...

"Dude, I couldn't agree with you more, and I'm ready to help you get all this evil out of your life! Let's start with you CD's and your DVD's; they are all funded, produced, and distributed by corporations. Next we will work on the stereo; again, all produced and distributed (and, incidentally, researched by) corporations. We can then move on to the TV and DVD player, then your computer; that will make a nice start. Then, if we can find someone with an acetelyne torch we can move on to those mountain & street bikes that you are so proud of."

And so on and so forth...

I will probably never actually do it, but it's a lot of fun to think about.

Well said, Yervand...

On a related note, I have a friend who will occasionally go off on a rant about how evil corporations are, how they are destroying the world, blahblahblah (all the usual crapola); he will do this even as we all sit there listening to music on his stereo and/or watching cable TV, drinking commercially-produced beer, eating commercially-produced food, etc; one of these days I think I will have to grab his big, heavy, 'barbarian sword' hanging on one of the ceiling beams, and start a little tirade:
