Well said. We could afford a 27,000 man army and a twelve frigate navy when 2 vast oceans counted for something AND our economy was turned almost totally inward; now that the oceans don't count and our economy is closely integrated with the rest of the world we need strong armed forces that can (working on the theory that the best defence is a good offence) project power around the world.

Sucks, but that is the reality of the situation...

Nose, this is an article from AFP (Agency France Presse) that Breibart has merely reprinted; blaming him for its content would be like yelling at Drudge for the content of a NY Times article he had linked to...

Wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!!

Either the "jounalist" hasn't bothered to read the law, or they don't care... and are ignorant on top of it.

1) An undocumented alien is already comitting a FEDERAL crime, simply by the fact of being undocumented.

2) The law does NOT allow for people to be stopped on "mere suspicion of being in the country illegally"; it has to occur during the course of some other 'lawful contact', such as being stopped for speeding.

Stupid, ignorant, and liberal is no way to go thru life, son...

Anyone who still says the Democratic party is the 'party of the common man' is either a damn fool or a damn liar...
