Write your Senators and Congressmen. Let them know what you think. Tell your friends, neighbors, and anyone who will give you time about what is happening. More and more people are taking notice.

I can't wait for election time when I get to remind everyone that my congressman voted to increase my bills and increase the energy bills of every business in his district. He won by a landslide in the last election but I have a feeling if we keep the word out we will see a different story this time around. People start to take notice when these laws/bills start to hurt thier own pocket book. This cap and tax will make everyone pay more and there are no loopholes around it.

Bottom line: Get the word out. I have swayed people to the good side by just having simple facts to give them.

NK does not care about UN Resolutions. A UN Resolution packs the same punch as Obama saying, "Please don't fire your missiles." NK knows that nothing will happen and the US is not prepared to do anything about it. Kim Jong Il is a crazy dictator willing to do whatever it takes to make our lives miserable.

What are his motives here? He donates a large amount of money to McCain in the election and then switches sides once it becomes clear Obama would probably win. I don't know what he's trying to do here other than insert himself into a situation to come out ahead. He's aiming for an appointment or a positon somewhere to make himself look good.

There is no way he couldn't have know the types of policies and the type of government Obama wanted to run during the election. He should not act surprised or concerned as he helped Obama into office by endorsing him for President. Doing a little homework on who he endorsed would have helped him to make a better decision. I don't believe McCain would have been much better but our ever increasing government role in our lives would not be growing at the rate it is now.

I agree 100% but moving out of this country is not an option. We need to fight against this stuff. As bad as things might be for us right now this is still the best country in the world. We just need to put people in office who feel the same as us and let the ones who don't know that they are on the way out the door.

I'm glad someone is calling it what it is. It takes a comment like that to even make the news anymore. I wrote my Congressman a letter thanking him for not supporting this bill and encouraged him to keep up the fight.

Publishing the emails feeds our TMZ nation. Our country wants to read all the little details. I don't like it but that seems to be how it is. It's just a matter of time before pictures of his mistress start popping up. Reporters have already found her house and spoken to her even though she refuses to speak with them. The pressure is going to start building on the mistress and she may eventually feel compelled to have to say something.

I do agree with Boopster. His kids will someday read those emails. Hopefully they will be able to handle what they read. This will do some serious damage to them for years to come.

I'm curious about the girl standing over the shoulder of Gov Sanford during the press conference. She had a big smile on her face like this was the best thing she's ever heard. There was another woman standing next to this girl who looked somewhat amused as well.

I do believe Sanford should step down for the good of his family which should be more important right now than being Gov.

I'm with Doc. People tell me how to do my job all the time. From my supervisors to our customers. I would imagine that unless you are your own boss you don't have people telling you what to do.

We the taxpayer are ultimately paying for the census and should have a say as to how it's done and who gets to come to our door to harrass us in OUR homes.
