Sorry, I have an answer for you on some of this, but I have difficulty with communicating complex thoughts. I have sever Aspergers and don't think linearly. I have been trying to serialize out my thinking to enable it to be encoded in language for the last couple of hours.

The main problem is that the language we have for communicating has been created by socialists. Socialist have a nasty tendency to take a term, twist its meaning and apply it to themselves. Our school system and most of our entertainment/news media, actively channel our social consciousness to reflect a socialist world-view. Almost everyone including conservatives think in socialist terms.

The conservative movement as it exists in its contemporary incarnation would have been called a liberal movement. Liberal used to mean the antithesis of socialist. The only reason that the term conservative is valid, it that modern conservatives want to conserve freedom which is a traditional American value.

All of the variations of the anti-socialist movement, regardless of name basically come from the differences in the responses that people have to the multifaceted onslaught of socialists. And some of those responses are flawed because so many people can not escape the socialist world-view that they have been programmed with.

Another point, it that people tend to be attracted to the voices of "leaders". This is not a bad thing. Its the basis of cooperation that has allowed civilization to get to were its at. But, up until very recently, socialist were the gate keepers of who could have, and who could not have a public voice, and then they were able to manipulate that message. In this way, they have been able to define their own enemy.

The problem with your writing is that you are using terminology that has been created by socialists, and mostly by Marxists at that. E.g. that whole left-right dichotomy was a creation of socialist (socialist says, you don't like the left, that means you must be right leaning, thereby entrapping you into being a socialist). If you uses socialist defined vocabulary, then anything you say will be embedded within a socialist world view. The socialist world-view is faulty, so any concept within it will be faulty.

Well, I have always been a conservative, and have known it since I was 4! This episode influenced me quite a bit when I first saw it at the age of 9. Central concentration of power, even to bring about some good, will always be turned into a tool for evil.
