Red Ferret : Penclic - Hands on review with the hybrid mouse-pen of the future

Not entirely Rick, you could use it left handed, but you'll cover up the Forward/Backward buttons on the side of the pen. That being said, it's probably the most ambidextrous ergo mouse I've used but that's not saying much.

Any idea if the enormously wide bezel is a design offering, or is it required for the functioning of the e-ink?

Red Ferret : Rescuing Nokia - will a radical plan help the giant survive and thrive once more?

The other thing they really need to do is stop making so many damn different types of handsets. If you haven't checked their website in the last 4 weeks your information is out of date, and seriously, who wants to trawl though 900 very slightly different phones to find the one you need. Then, because there are so many different types of phones, keeping their firmware usable when they all run slightly different variations requires huge resources. Product spam is so 3 years ago. Tighten up the product line to maybe 10 phones Nokia and I'll consider buying your stuff again. As it is, the N82 is the last phone of yours I'll ever buy.

Red Ferret : HDBaseT - new standard to replace 'ageing' HDMI home A/V interface

Yeah I know, another year another format, however I think HDMI will still be very useful. Can you imagine smart phones or digital cameras burdened with an Ethernet port? The long range HDBaseT should come in very handy.

Andy/Adrian - After searching for "google maps apk" I found and installed the first one on the search results and it works very well. The only thing I can't do is login to access MyMaps. See Nigel's comment above.

The phone Chinavasion sent me doesn't have access to the Android Marketplace, and as far as I know that means you can't access it. Unfortunately that means you can't get Google Maps on the phone unless you reflash it somehow. I mentioned that in the review. The phone is a Smart F910, and screenshots from other vendors do show the Google Marketplace app on the home screen, but the one I was sent doesn't have it. I've installed apps from the AndAppStore, and SlideME. I've done some searching but I can't find mention of reflashing the F910 as yet.
