It should be REALLY clear that these folks aren't interested in loving, monogamous homosexual relationships, you know, the ones that "deserve" the same benefits as a heterosexual marriage receives. They are out to undermine and destroy the traditional family, that is clear. As far as I'm concerned, it looks like they are out to destroy our culture completely. Sickening, utterly sickening.

Shared this story with my father-in-law, who didn't vote for O, but loves his healthcare plan and he just shook his head and said, "That will be interesting if it's true. But, you can't believe that the whole organization is crooked just because of this one office and these two people." He doesn't believe any of the information about the czars either, because they aren't talking about it on CNN or MSNBC, and according to him, if they're not talking about it, it must not be true. Sad. So many don't want to see that information as even possibly being true. It's a painful reality.

Pedophilia is listed in the APA journal as one of many "orientations" and Rep. King wanted to make sure that people who were engaging in UNLAWFUL behavior were not given special treatment. Apparently, this hate crime legislation is less about protecting people from violence and more about encouraging and affirming "orientations" that are what many people would consider immoral.

I'm wondering if anyone else is seething about the debate surrounding HR 1913...the Hate Crimes legislation that passed through the House this week? You know, the one that democratic members of the congress are using this to affirm pedophilia? I heard this story and researched it a bit and discovered that a simple amendment was attempted to be put in to clarify "sexual orientation" (Rep. Steve King, IA - "The term sexual orientation as used in this act or any amendments to this act does not include pedophilia.") This was a seemingly simple point of clarification, certainly our country would not be AFFIRMING pedophilia by giving those who are involved in it special treatment, right? WRONG! Every single dem in the house voted AGAINST the amendment and Rep. Alcee Hastings actually said, "This bill addresses our resolve to end violence based on prejudice and to guarantee that all Americans regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability or all of these 'Philias' and fetishes and 'ism's' that were put forward need not live in fear because of who they are."

Just heard Newt Gingrinch on Greta talking about how the Tax Day Tea Parties will be happening during the Senate and Congressional recess and I got to thinking that perhaps another way we could get our message across to those in D.C. is to locate the nearest local office for your representatives - many have them in several locations - and demonstrate in front of those offices as well as state capitol buildings. I know my hometown is not close to a state captiol, but is close to a congressional office. If they are "home", we should stop by! Let's make our voices heard in as many places as possible.
