/Film : Summit Entertainment Removes Twilight Director Catherine Hardwicke From Franchise

Oh thank god! There may be hope for the next movie after all! Please say this means no more shitty wire work and cringe-worthy special effects! That does suck for her though. They could have at least waited at little while to announce it until after all the promotional stuff for Twilight was done. It sucks to be her right now.

/Film : Twilight Fans Start Mini Riot in San Francisco

I think you may be reading into what he is saying a little too much. I have seen those interviews and I didn't take it that way. He really wanted that role and I have seen him say he is excited about the rest of them. I do think the mobs scare him. I have seen him say that a few times.

I think those people are ON heroine or something. I just don't understand why people are so obsessed with it. I mean I love the books and I have read them a few times. I thought the movie was ok, but I'm not gonna beat someone down over it, or make death threats as I have seen others on this site do. I think all the twitards need a psychiatric evaluation, because there is something seriously wrong with them.

Haha perhaps you should check out some of the other Twilight pages on the site. They do tend to get psycho. Hence the reason big daddy and I started to use the term Twitards for them. I am a fan too, but I have managed to fall in the good graces of some on this site. I guess that because I actually have a brain. But the bad ones make us all look bad. Someone on another page was actually threatening bodily harm and cussing people out. So we have our reasons for saying the things we do.

They move around a lot, so he isn't going to the same school everytime. The younger they pretend to be, the longer they can stay in one place. So he has actually graduated quiet a few times from high school and college. They just use that as a way to fit in with society better to appear to be more normal.

/Film : Movie Review: Twilight

I have to agree with Meli. I enjoyed it, hell even my husband and his friend enjoyed it, which totally surprised me. I knew the wire work and the special effects would be bad so I just tried to ignore those parts. Thankfully there wasn't a lot of that stuff used. So it is easy to look over that. The wire work made me cringe though and it was completely unnecessary. That whole scene could have been taken out if you ask me. The parts with Charlie were pretty funny. I think my favorite part of the movie was when he had his gun and told her to bring Edward in so he could meet him. It was cute, it reminded me of my grandpa... I think the major problems for the people who hadn't read the book was that they portrayed Bella and Edwards relationship in kid of a shoty way. It was like they met and a week later they were in love. It didn't happen like that and that just annoyed me. But overall I liked the movie, and I would like it better with better special effects. I thought Rob played Edward very well no matter what is said. I guess his character is a little hard to understand if you haven't read the books. Of course it is a bit hard to understand him in the books. But if you ever read Midnight Sun then that is a big help to understand why he acts the way he does.

OH big daddy, you never fail at making me laugh. Sadly he does not do that. He does suck some of her blood out though... I wish they would have picked someone besides Kristen, I didn't think she did that well. I thought Rob actually did good. I mean he played the character perfectly, but you may not realize that unless you read the books. The character does act slightly crazy in the books...

I thought Pattinson did really good actually, as did the rest of the cast. Kristen on the other hand... she needs to learn how to show a little more emotion. It seemed like she was the same through the whole movie.

Who said they disliked it? I always heard them say they love the books. The insane fans might be another story though. I think everyone had signed a contract for the first 3 movies all at once. They were just waiting for the green light to start it. I say the raise was just an extra thing they had not planned on.

Yes I know, that shot of him was great. He had the smile down too. I loved it. Ashley Green is awesome. Kristen seemed like she had trouble showing any emotion. Your right, she just had this monotone voice the whole time. It got rather annoying. Haha, I never noticed she did that, but now that you said something about it, she does do that.

The sparkling was not as bad as a I pictured it. I mean, they kept it kind of subtle I guess. I could still do without it though. But that was probably the most realistic effects they had in the whole movie. They had George Lucas's special effects peeps do that part. They should of had them do the rest. do the rest of it. I wish we would have got to see more of Alice. She is my fav person in those books. I thought everyone else did really well. I think I have officially fallen for Rob now that I have seen that movie. There is just something about him that makes him sexy, even without the British accent. Kristen kind of bugged me a little. I didn't think she played Bella right.

Yeah, there were a few sequels at first followed by a lot of shushes... then the kid. It was rather funny though lol. Yeah my husband kept trying to talk to me to ask me questions about the movie. I was like shush... wait until later. LOL. I hate when people make any kind of noise during any movie. So I wanted to smack some people. My husband and his friend that was with us ended up liking it. We were kind of on a double date I guess....But anyway...

This is true, but there is just something about him that bugs the crap out of me. There was good tension there. At least they got that much going lol. Yes, the Victoria thing bothered me too. I mean it was good foreshadowing, but your right. Edward would have known she was there one way or another. I was thinking about that this morning actually. It didn't dawn on me when I was watching it. I thought the kissing scene was pretty good. There was like an 8 year old kid that that started yelling "oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about" when he pushed her back on the bed. I was like WTF? Kids these days....

So I seen the movie Saturday. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Even my husband liked it.... I thought it was really good aside from the crappy wire work and special effects, but there wasn't a whole lot of that used, so it wasn't to bad. What you see in the previews is about all of the special effects there are aside from the baseball scene, but that part was actually done pretty well. Kristen Stewart could have done a little better. Her character was a little off, but I thought everyone else did a fantastic job.

I think that sounds kind of sexy myself..... HAHAHA! No joking... He never knocked her out at the beginning of intercourse? Where did you get that from? You are obviously referring only to Breaking Dawn. That book was a little umm... strange to say the least. Hence the reason there was such a backlash from the fans. Twilight however, I think is good. The movie, well who knows because I haven't seen it yet.

A vampire is defined as an entity or undead being who feeds off the blood from the living in order to survive. So technically, all those other clichés don't really matter. The only thing they need to do to be considered a vampire is to suck blood. Edward happens to be very mature, as is Bella. Although she is very annoying in my opinion. He initially has no interest in human girls period. He becomes fascinated by her because he cannot read her thoughts. That had never happened to him before. He is also drawn in by her scent. Basically he just really wants to kill her. However, he ends up falling for her and learns to control himself around her. I think it is more fascination than anything that originally draws him to her.
