/Film : Just What We Need... Even MORE Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Posters

Yeah I've only read the first Potter book and it didn't really click with me for some reason the movies on the other hand I've all enjoyed (more or less). So it would be somewhat silly for me to try catching up by starting with the sixth installment.

Hermione is way better looking than the girl Ron seems to be friendly with. Ron doesn't have good taste in women it seems. I like how all the posters are related to each of the characters romance arc yet I can't help but notice that the last poster portraying Hermione lurking in the background (rather creepily may I add) as Ron stands proudly while his lady friend stares in admiration. Just something I found kind of comical.

/Film : Olivia Munn Cast in Iron Man 2

I used to watch Attack of the Show a lot when I was younger but I stopped watching G4 altogether once it became overfilled with "Cops" and other re runs of old syndication. It wasn't the same channel I tuned into when it first started broadcasting. It didn't feel like G4TV "TV made for gamers" but more of a completely changed network to appeal to the "Spike" crowd. Kevin Pereira is alright but I caught their E3 coverage on AOTS recently and I can't say it convinced me to tune into a sea of re runs. Admittedly Olivia is pretty attractive despite the networks own failings.

/Film : New GI Joe Posters and TV Trailer

I can't believe Paramount isn't focusing some of the promotion on Snake Eyes. Thats the one good thing about the movie apparently according to the guy who saw the test screening. Those posters won't do anything to sway anyones mind. Word of mouth is already spreading and will probably carry on to release.

/Film : Christopher Nolan Has Still Not Signed For Batman 3

I think we'll have clear word if Nolan will return or not some time during the production of "Inception" or after it's released. I'm glad that Nolan is getting to work on his own project which is something different from Batman so he can straighten his thoughts. Its exhausting doing what Nolan did when it came to TDK as he doesn't utilize CGI nearly as much other directors do nowadays which makes filming even more draining yet quite rewarding as well. In due time he'll make up his mind and whatever he decides I will fully support it. Chris is a great director even when not directing a Batman film. Although I would very much like to see him return for the third installment its truly up to him to decide whether or not he feels the need to invest time and energy into a third film. If its not a story that is worthwhile to adapt into film then Nolan will move on to other projects. Whatever happens I'm still looking forward to Nolan's future endeavors in his film work.

Just reading this brings excitement. Iron Man 2 is going to be a blast and Thor seems to be shaping up quite nicely and has the potential to be another well received Marvel adaptation made under Marvel Studio aligned with Paramount (a great partnership).

/Film : Noah Wyle Cast in Steven Spielberg's Alien Invasion Television Pilot

Definitely sounds like a cool concept but will the show be able to believably create a world in which the audience feels that they are viewing a ruined mankind because of intrusive/violent invaders. Will this all be possible under a t.v budget as you mentioned. At least knowing that Spielberg and Rodat are involved does bring credibility to the project. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this one, it can either turn into a mundane alien vs human cliche story or something far more expansive and thought out that will hopefully add a worthwhile television show to tune into.

As "sad" as that picture may be of George Lucas behind the green screen the man has brought us one of the greatest special effects company (ILM) to ever work in the field. And to that I'm grateful that Lucas decided to make such progress in terms of CGI.

Well I guess the bad anime adaptations are taking their toll on future LA adaptations. Kind of cool knowing that Zack Snyder was approached. It might sit in development hell for a while but hopefully WB will choose to make the film whenever they feel they have all the resources to begin production. It comforts me knowing that at least the studio is taking the project serious enough that they are willing to have it lay dormant for a while instead of rushing and end up with a piece of crap product (DB:E style). This was on my list of most anticipated films in the early stages of production. A shame to find out that its dead for the time being.

/Film : Rumor: Stephen Sommers Fired From G.I. Joe?

I also smell damage control. I know the first reports validity about the firing is in question but it was deleted from the Don Murphy forums and Bonaventura is the producer of the film. He wouldn't just say "Oh well yeah the movie is a piece of crap and we had to bring master editor Steve Baird into this". Bonaventura is probably hoping that Baird's editing magic will be enough to make this film watchable and I'm sure ILM and the other sfx companies are doing some extra work in probably making this movie's CGI good at least (its one of the few aspects its got going; although the first trailer doesn't indicate that). Again I hope this does well, because Paramount doesn't deserve a flop like this. They are definitely one of the more risk taking studio's out there but I guess with risk comes openings for something like this to occur. I really don't expect much from this film but if its successfully dumb entertainment then it has accomplished something. If it doesn't even pull that off because of Sommers craptastic directing and the editing isn't able to save this movie, well lets just say thats $170 mil down the drain.

/Film : Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island Movie Trailer

This movie looks incredible let me say that straight off the bat. The trailer is purposefully misleading it didn't reveal anything. Marty has been a consistent director in delivering and I've enjoyed a good majority of his films, "The Departed" was just fantastic. This trailer shows that the film adaptation has hit on every mark when it comes to Denis Lehan's vision of what "Shutter Island" would have looked like. The fact that its being released in October of this year makes me completely ecstatic that there are still good films to see that are of this caliber. I'll just have to wait patiently until the release date being content that "Shutter Island" looks spectacular for me as of now.

I'm leaning towards Ant Man as well or something completely off the radar from the Marvel vault. Ant-Man makes sense though he was one of the founders of The Avengers and they have already established Iron Man and Captain America and Thor are already in development leaving out one more member. Not sure if they'd further delay The Avengers to give those working on Ant-Man time to make a really good film.

Puss in boots was one of the more tolerable and funny at time characters from Shrek. The Gingerbread man also made me laugh a couple of times. Funny how none of the main characters were remotely funny (Eddie Murphy voicing that Donkey got annoying real quick) and relied on the side characters to do more of the comical pushing. There's definitely the opening for a pretty comical origin story or it can turn into another "meh" Dreamwork's film.
