I'm not disappointed, I will be getting one, but i expected more i think. As for Fincher.... did he direct this from home? WTF? this is probably the most bland commercial he's ever done, and probably the most bland commercial for a product like this. Apple has been known for excellent marketing. Good choice choosing Fincher.. but Mr. F... bad choices in direction.
"It's the same."

Due to no emotional attachment to any character, this movie was just so completely boring. I love the series, minus the third film but this made me wish the TX was back. At least T3 was laughably bad, this was just such a crash and burn that it was just sad. So you live in an underground bunker, trying to stay covert and avoid any sort of action that would alert Skynet to your position, but when two prisoners escape, you turn on every light and set off every conceivable explosion that anyone within a 10 mile radius would notice... what is the point? I'm surprised an HK wasnt on their ass sooner.
Marcus, the only sort of enjoyable character for me, Conner was useless, so was Blair and Barnes and ... you know what, this whole movie was useless. By the end, nothing is accomplished. You blew up Skynet?OOOOOOOO GOOD FOR YOU! Skynet isn't fucking stupid even though they acted like it in this movie. Skynet wouldn't have just one HQ, like he said, the war is far from over... yeah... so what was the point of this movie?
I saw the ending coming a mile away. His heart... it's too much. Oh my god and I wonder who has a good heart? Stupid. Acting on Moon Bloodgood's account... terrible, she was more rigid than the T-600s.
THe only really redeemable thing that made me sit up and pay attention even for a minute was when Digi-Arnold showed up. THe CGI arnold face looked pretty damn good. But as soon as he became the T-800 endo. I lost interest. If I want to see the T-800 fight, I'll watch T1 or T2, give me something I haven't seen... but more than that, give me an emotional core that makes me give a damn.
And for fucks sake. I love Danny Elfman. I love The original Terminator theme. should work perfectly right? No. The music was so generic that it was about as boring as the film it self. The signature Dun dun dun dudun was so rushed that it sounded terrible, and where's the rest of the theme? even Marco Beltrami the butt-fucking-reject of the music industry managed to compose a halfway decent theme, why can't you Danny Elfman. Go back to Tim Burton. Fail.
