I explain the reason why I focus on Christian extremism very simply, I am in the USA and the fundamentalist Christians in this country flow throughout our government, making steps to make Christianity the national religion, give themselves special rights, while demonizing every other group that wants just equal right, want to rewrite history in our governmental archives, teaching books for children and our libraries and want to become a Theocracy, with the power to exterminate anyone that is in their way. Do not think I am joking when I say this. Just look at how easy it was for Palin to have the Tea-baggers bring out Reverends and Ministers who prayed for Obama’s death, and the many others who want to kill gays because they are more of a threat to the very fabric of the USA in their tainted eyes. All of this, most if not all of you are familiar with, but when I explain this to those who do not, they are usually surprised by this information, very unaware of how powerful and relevant the fundamentalist Christian extremists movement is within the USA. I usually pass these links on too. What STILL amazes me is that these pro-war folks never mention how many innocent civilians in the country they are promoting the invasion of, will die. Oh SURE they may mention the US Troops that will fight for the "freedoms" of the people in the country that may die, but that is some how part of the big picture and sacrifice, making it an automatic positive, that someone joined the military to sacrifice their lives. What about the innocent folks in Iran, mostly young and educated. The only ones that would be able to "escape" are the wealthy and "connected", as it was in Iraq and Afghanistan. There was a movie I saw way back when, I think it was based on a true story, I think, about a ballerina who ended up having cancer and her treatment, the emotions, how people treated her etc.... I remember one part, a priest coming in and she saw him and got pissed and knocked over the IV. Come to think of it, that could of been a number of movies....a non-believer or even a believer who isn't "ready" to die. Since that time, I have a fear that, if I am in the hospital someday, and a priest comes in, I may throw something at him. I find it VERY offensive that a human being believes they have the power to channel some almighty god they believe is so grand that it created everything including the universe. I cannot imagine being that arrogant. I cannot understand the egomaniac, sociopath who lives like that. I have written a "Living Will" just need to get it notarized, and plan on including that ANYONE who allows ANY religious person to enter my death bed room, I will haunt them for the rest of their lives....lol But seriously, I am going to. If someone believes in a "god", they must believe in evil non-believer spirits...didn't they see Poltergeist?

He, like most politicians, play the game of politics. I believe the Dems are just scape-goating him, to try and show the Repubs that they are tough on anyone who is "bad" in their party... Why would they do this; 1. They have no back bones 2. They are too afraid to do the same to a Repub 3. They hope this will make the Repubs go easy on Obama 4. They want to keep the 'Majority' I think it is a shame. Most of them; Dems and Repubs alike, play all those "scratch my back and I scratch yours" games, as does the USgov with other political leaders across the globe. Hence, time for an overhaul of the system. because NOTHING is going to change. The US gov. is NOT a friend to the "Peope" which is US. It makes me sick!
