I live in a VA school district that will bus those kids out of their "horrible schools". What amazes me, is that shortly after that happens, the new school starts having the same issues as the old one.

Funny that these same parents who puts their child in our schools because they think the zoned school is awful....never shows up for Parent Teacher conferences. Ot starts yelling at the teacher when she gets the report card (nevermiond the progress report she hasn't read, nor bothered to check homework, etc.

Seriously, why are certain zoned schools the worst? My money isn't on a lack of good teachers.
