Being shocked by truth doesn't make it untrue. I recall Iraqi "pro-democracy freedom fighters" being trotted out to tell us how important it was for us to sacrifice treasure and young lives in Iraq too. Ron Paul spoke of the fruitless waste it would be back then as well. He was right.

Racism codified into policy - so much for content of character.

This goes beyond incompetence to a blatant disregard for laws intended to constrain evil. He's poking his middle finger into our eyes, America. It's time we called these rodents in our White House what they are - Domestic enemies of the Constitution, truth, justice, liberty, and all that is good. If we truly love these things and desire the same for our posterity, something must be done other than simply witnessing the invasion and carnage.
It's time for Congress, our representatives to put a stop to it, now! If they don't, they're either incompetent, cowardice, or conspirators, and must be dealt with or shoved aside.

Not questioning the validity of the debt is a far cry from not questioning the validity of INCREASING the debt via a dictatorial usurpation of power.

The balanced budget amendment is a ruse!

Think about it - Two-thirds of Congress is needed to pass the amendment.& two-thirds of Congress is needed to pass a veto proof balanced budget.

Why not simply pass a veto proof balanced budget? Why raise the debt another 2 Trillion dollars pretending to want to be forced into what they apparently lack the intestinal fortitude or desire to do?

We're being snookered!

This amendment will only hand control of budgetary "crises" over to the Supreme Court!

My concern with the amendment is that it may very well turn the budget process over to the Supreme Court.

It just doesn't pass the smell test - Why would 2 thirds of Congress vote for the amendment but lack the intestinal fortitude to simply vote for a balanced budget? The amendment won't improve politically motivated mindsets. The budget will end up before the Court.
