Seems most people are missing the point. The Education Establishment is clearly guilty of using inferior teaching methods with black students. If there are differences in SAT scores, the legal challenge should be against the incompetent and racist people in charge of concocting bad pedagogical techniques. I don't see any escape from this iron logic. If blacks fail, professors of ed should go to jail.

The best video on YouTube is M J McDermott's attack on Reform Math (search her name). I believe that what you are really reporting here is the inevitable results from math programs that don't teach mastery of basics.
