WTF??? The Mk 48 is a 21" torpedo, 19 ft long. US surface-ship tubes (almost always the Mk 32 triple mount) are 13" tubes for a fish half as long- i.e. the air-launch/surface launch Mk 46, 50 and 56. You couldn't remotely fit a 48.
