Do not be decieved by what the Dems are saying in the media . They see us and they know we are a threat to thier agenda . They will now try and speed things up, they will use the health care as a distraction , while pushing cap and trade through , then while we turn our attentions towards that , amnesty will be rushed through . Then they have us . We must be focused on both hands . When it comes to underhandness and unethical tactics the Dems wrote the book . Bipartisanship , a word not understood by Dem leaders . The protest facing these elected are bipartisan something Pelosi and crew cannot grasp . One other thing they did not foresee, thier attacks and false claims against the protesters are driving more to join the protesters .Many of the protesters are known in thier areas, and when people see these attacks on people they know have no ties to Repubs or insurance companies , they then know the dishonesty that is leading this Nation . They see how low Pelosi and Obama will go to discredit anyone who does not support thier agenda . "We want to get a bipartisan agreement, but if we don't, it's not going to stop us from moving forward with health care." Mr. Schumer reiterated a Sept. 15 deadline to reach agreement on a bill within the Senate Finance Committee. He emphasized that the deadline was generated by that committee's chairman, Democrat Max Baucus of Montana, rather than from Democratic leaders. Three Republican members of the panel -- Sens. Charles Grassley of Iowa, Mike Enzi of Wyoming and Olympia Snowe of Maine -- are engaged in talks on the bill. While Republicans such as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have derided Democrats' attempts to pass a major health-care bill, the three Republicans involved in negotiations still appear interested in reaching a compromise.

WASHINGTON – Senate Democrats won't hesitate to forgo bipartisanship to pass a health-overhaul bill if negotiations fail in the next month, Sen. Charles Schumer said Monday. The New York Democrat, on a conference call with reporters, indicated that Democratic leaders are actively exploring options to pass the health bill that wouldn't require Republican votes. He pointed specifically to budget reconciliation, a parliamentary tactic that would allow passage of a bill with a simple majority, rather than the 60 votes generally required in the Senate. I was sitting at the local VFW last night having a beer summit with other veterans . A retired Seal asked this question ," When we have so many police why do we need a civilan military ? , and would they have authority over local police ? " Good questions I thought , does anyone have any answers to this ?
