I believe that the crime of Treason was changed by Tony Blair from the Death Penalty to Life in Prison. Which could then be commuted to 4 years in an Open Prison. As the recipient is no danger to the community unless you consider Treason to be dangerous.

Asylum that is granted on an untruthfull allegiance should be refused, and any subsequent Contracts funded i.e. Citizenship be Legally Terminated as Breach of Contract.
