I am a union construction worker.I have done non union construction work and union work. My work ethic and the union have been the best thing to happen to my families quality of life in a while. The only thing protecting my trade and my wages from being completly overrun with illegal immigrants is my union. If contractors could pay undocumented workers sub standard wages they would.
