If she had just recently had the mastectomy like it is implied then the pat down would have been extremely painful. I would certainly like to see their justification for requiring extra measures.
Aside from the broadband problem, and it is a problem, the phone lines are getting really old and they aren't exactly replacing them either meaning that many rural and semi-rural area's have degrading phone lines and service. The telecommunication company's are making hefty profits while not serving the greater good like they were supposed to do after Ma Bell was broke up... It's a disgrace that we are slowly going to let our country sink into 2nd world standards, but that is what's happening.
This sounds like revenge on the taxpayers for passing referenda the legislature does not like. The legislature doesn't like that the people have a say in our government in this way and after we tied their hands on taxes again they are going to try and take this power away from us. Hope this bill doesn't not go anywhere...
I glad this has finally made the news, it's something that has been going on for years and not just with houses. My mother was murdered and the bank she had her car loan through repo'd her vechile less then an hour later, when we contacted them they actually told us they had to protect their assests.... I was completely shocked! The bank that did that to my family was not Chase and was not in Washington state but I've heard things like this aren't all that uncommon and I can't believe it's taken so long for it to actually make it into the news.
This seems to be more of a slander case then a case really aimed at finding the boy. I don't think the murder for hire plot is valid since the police didn't move on it and the guy didn't come forward with this so called plot until the family was all over the national media. If this happened last fall then why did he wait to long to go to the police? Everything about this case has been odd right from the beginning and I think the police really should look into all parties involved not just the stepmom.
I think everything about this case is really strange and not just with the stepmother.
I did see in one news article a week ago that someone did see the child at around 9am after the step mother had left.
I'm kinda surprised that we haven't seen anything about the ratio's of sex offenders in the area... When a child goes missing in Washington that seems to be one of the first places they start looking. I know Oregan is a state that believes sex offenders can be cured though so maybe they don't look that way as often...
She's staying with the father and the stepmother and their is an aunt their also I heard.
