Ya knew it was going to happen. And, it was going to happen in any administration. The biggest thing the US could've done was obliterate Muqtada al-Sadr.

Hopefully, the protesters are not the useful stooges of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, or AQIE who are really behind these Arab Spring uprisings, which are funded by the Wahabists and Iran and shamelessly use those who really do want their version of a democratic society; but are seduced into these efforts. However, I remain quite skeptical as to the forces behind the uprisings. Just like it is incomprehensible that Panetta is meeting with and recognizing the 'new' government officials in Libya who are MBIL members with Hamas and AQIL backing, which are funded by the Wahabists in Saudi and Iran. Who are the useful stooges, now, besides our state and defense departments and BHO? It's been a civil war from the getgo, and one in which the US should not have been involved; especially since the rebels have ties to AQIE and others. Anyone who believes that the uprisings in the ME are rooted in a cry for democracy is extremely naïve and/or ignorant. The people behind the uprisings are anything but democracy seeking. Ya know the Euros don't do anything for humanitarian reasons - they don’t want more Muslim refugees in their respective countries. Do ya think the US got the same favorable coverage in Kuwait/Saudi Arabia or Iraq? Ya know they didn't. Remember all those placards of, "No Blood For Oil!!"
And, with Al Qaeda links with the rebels along with the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and Hezbollah insinuating themselves with the rebels and all being funded by the Wahabists and Iran; how near are we to coordinating actions with the rebels, AQIE & MBIE, et al, and are we arming them as well? Do ya think AQ, Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and Hezbollah are going to back off against the western world any time soon?

Why don't the OWSers Occupy Universities? There are few, if any, complaints about the ever rising cost of the college bills where many of the college presidents of these oh so gifted hyper, grade inflated so-called institutions of higher learning in the Ivy League and the left coast are receiving over $1M/yr as glorified fund raisers - they don't teach (well, maybe vicariously on how to avoid responsibility). All the while yearly costs to these bright students are rising at over 5%/yr; far outpacing inflation. For what are those endowments that these great institutions being used? A rainy day - HEY, IT'S RAINING!!! We are reaping what has been sown for the last 2-3 generations - minds of mush college and high school students being taught by those that can't find a job in the private sector not including most private schools. Their attention has been diverted to the "other evil people".

This has been coming for the past 2-3 generations, and now we are reaping what has been sown. If these hyper, grade-inflated so-called institutions of higher learning are (were) so great, why are we in such an economic mess? These places just look on the US as a great opportunity to conduct social experiments on an unsuspecting public just to test the last theories they found on a bathroom wall. This is what is being taught at those hyper-grade inflated so-called institutions of higher learning where those that can't do, teach (for the most part). Of course, no one will be trained to do anything; e.g., fix a car, build a house, treat a patient, do research (who pays?). Where is this money's origins? Oh, BHO, Geithner, & Bernanke have the solution - print more. Also, who are the people proponing violence - the regressives (aka liberal progressives; e.g., ACORN (it's still there), dems, unions (SEIU, UAW, AFL-CIO, AFGE, AFSCME), weak-kneed RINOs (redundant)); do as I say, not as I do leader (BHO) and limousine liberals – leading from behind. A regressive tears down that which has made America great and successful as a country and as individuals except for those who believe they are entitled such as the clowns out demonstrating instead of earning a living wage themselves.

Who the heck are we to tell anyone how to spend their money - except the ones on the dole, the administration, and congress (they're pretty much on the dole as well). We may not like it, and it's not what we would do; but it's NOOB. We already have the food police; thought police; smoker police, etc.; I guess we need the spend police, too - oh, that's what BHO does - don't go to Las Vegas and blow your money for fun; stay at home and...

The zealotry for ‘alternative’ energy agenda is hidden by these community organizing efforts that squelch real progress with the creation and sustainment of jobs – productive jobs. The only way these alternative energy efforts are sustained is with taxpayer dollars – handouts, subsidies, etc. No product or service should be subsidized (yes, that includes grain-based ethanol production – look at the world food prices; as well as subsidies to any energy entity). All goods and services should stand on their own merit. If it is desired, people will buy it; if not, they won’t and those entities do not deserve a bailout (including banks or auto companies.) The US has over 900 years of usable petroleum reserves; but they cannot be harvested because of the frivolous actions of these zealots. Do not be deceived by these community organizers; they are not looking out for your best interests; let alone America’s.

There is nothing at all progressive about their agenda; it is all regressive; i.e., tearing down that which has made America great and successful as a country and as individuals (except for those who believe they are entitled). And, this is another example of how they have seduced the most productive members of our once great country by using emotion and not fact over the supposed spoiling of the great Sand Hills to promote their regressive agenda. The American burying beetle or giant carrion beetle in North America is carnivorous, feeds on carrion and requires carrion to breed. So, what is its purpose? Oh, the Ogallala Aquifer dangers. Have there been leaks? Yes. Have they, are they, endangering anyone? No. Have they been repaired? Yes. Red Herrings, all.

Also, now that we have blown off Canada, and they are stating that the effort has been given the death knell, China is racing in to capitalize on the situation and get the oil to the west coast of Canada so it can be shipped to China. Real good effort for our energy independence - not. One of the largest, if not 'the' largest impediment to progress has been the so-called progressive environmental movement. They have used (abused) the political, judicial and community organizing systems to block progress they are NOT progressives; they are regressives (aka liberal progressives; e.g., ACORN, dems, unions (SEIU, UAW, AFL-CIO, AFGE, AFSCME), weak-kneed RINOs (redundant)); do as I say, not as I do limousine liberals; minds of mush college and high school students being taught by those that can't find a job in the private sector not including private schools.

He didn't do the right thing. The effort has been delayed 3 years already. He only did it for political expediency and shaft more jobs. Yes, he is focused on jobs like a laser; he's destroying them willy-nilly; and, his buddies at GE are sending a division of manufacturing jobs to China, while Solar Power in CA is sending their manufacturing jobs to Mexico. And these 20,000 jobs will go to Canada and China. How’s that hoax and chains werkin’ fer ya? Especially for the unions that used so much union dues to get BHO in office. Again, one of the opposition leaders in Nebraska is a funds bundler for BHO. Follow the money.
