While it is true that Churchill stated a iron curtain would fall over eastern europe, he did nothing but offer lip service to the Polish gov't in exile. The same type of lip service they provided when Poland was over run and they said "we will back you up" they didn't. Churchill and FDR showed weakness to Stalin and he used it against them. Churchill as well as FDR had REDS on their staffs and in their gov't. While I believe FDR was the more culpable of the two, Churchill was responsible for the people that represented his administration and is also responsible for what it did. I agree with you that if we are lucky someday we may get the truth about the reasons these choices were made. Thank you for taking the time to talk with me about this!

The Jewish community suffered most in Poland from both the Nazi's and in many cases their neighbors. Anti-semitism was common in Poland and throughout most of Europe at the time. This does not excuse Poland or any other country, but is a sad fact which must be faced. Although I am not Jewish I realize that this is a sad truth.

The administrations of both FDR and Churchill were filled with communist sympithizers who were pro-soviet, and in some instances pro-Nazi. Kennedy ring a bell? These leftists are responsible for the murder and enslavement of millions. MAY THEY ALL ROT IN HELL!!!

"Britain and the US tried to help" ?!?!?! FDR and Churchill were Stalin's bitches! Britain was Poland's first allie and did nothing. FDR and Churchill handed eastern europe to Stalin! They believed uncle Joe had had lost the most people and needed a break. Never mind about that deal between Germany and the Soviets.. Having lost family in Miechow, Poland I don't view FDR or Churchill as heroes. I see them as enablers who delivered my family from evil to enslavement. Poland supplied the RAF with some of its best pilots durring the battle of Britain, and the wouldn't let thme march in the post war victory parades. Thanks, for nothing!
