Hollywood's face, for better or for worse, tends to be young... which means they tend to be foolish.

In the case of Fonda, what she lacks in youth she more than makes up for with narcissism.

I think Greedo wanted Han's ship.... but still you're point stands because surely the bounty on Han's head was more than the value of the Falcon.

"He killed Greedo in self defense."
Precisely.

He was well-traveled and street-smart... he KNEW Gredo was going to off him. So he shot first.

One question for Mr. Lucas: If Han didn't shoot first, why did you bother to set up shots establishing the fact that Han had a gun, removed the strap on the holster, and pulled out his gun from under the table? To show that Han wanted to clean his blaster?

Exactly.
Han also smoothly leaves while tossing some cash/credits to the barman saying, "Sorry about the mess."

Just like a gunslinger in the old west would have in a rough saloon.

I bed you're right. He might have even used a line from "Outlaw Josey Wales" and said (to the administration), "Are you gonna pull them pistols or whistle Dixie?"

He's not been the mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea for quite some time now.
Clint was the mayor for two years... he left office back in 1988.

Also, one might make the argument that mayors of smaller cities are less political and more straightforward management.

You've got a busy day of asking irrelevant questions... you best start spam-posting.

Ah, I see I'm too late. You've already blathered.
