I'm disgusted, Republicans just experienced a huge victory Nov 2, and right away they revert to business as usual, deficit spending and tax increases! There should be NO compromise on the Bush tax plan, and it should be made permanent. The govt had ten years to adjust to the new tax plan, but kept spending more than the plan "allowed". These "cocktail party" Republicans have not learned and will be shown the door in 2012. Americans voted for NO MORE DEFICIT SPENDING AND TAX INCREASES, PERIOD!!!!

Will spitting in the "ocean of spending" by increasing tax revenues ever be enough to quell our govt's thirst for subsidizing incompetent bureaucracies and their unsustainable entitlements? It's not our government's mission to extort wealth from Americans and American businesses in order to prosecute it's own empowerment. Cutting what govt does makes a lot more sense.
