Scott I am so sorry for your loss.
it must have been like losing an anchor of trust.
The after having sailed your own boat for years - it is a beautiful sight to see your ship again having its anchor. All the "garbage" used to make sure you would be in control and not get totally wasted - it can all come off. Love seeing God in you!

With the Clipper around the world race we have just left Singapore heading for Qingdao. there are thousands of virtual skippers and you soon find a group to share tactics and life with. We found new friends in Australia, India, Brazil, US...
We made our own group and arrange short fun sailings.

I am challenged beyond my own ability to handle. Andys sermon last Sunday and your sharing has uncovered another false "truth" in my life. Guess I never really realized that it was broken before.
Remember Hebrews 12:12-13 "Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.
“Make level paths for your feet,” SO THAT the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed." - To me it becomes a reminder that if we continue, one step at the time, then healing will come to the "lame" parts of our broken hearts.
