You are using OS 3.0 beta on your 2G? And can you go back easily to 2.2.1?

How big, do you think, is the chance to use OS 3.0 with yellowsn0w. Is ist possible or not? I heard about problems with the 02.28.00 Baseband and OS 3.0. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel??? Because i think about to invest in an EU Sim- & Netlock free iPhone 3G.
