Sadly I don't think it's likely, because the whole country has been brainwashed for 60 years and denied any kind of real information about the outside world. That kind of uninterrupted propaganda has deep effects on people. They can be starving and living in a country that's a prison, but still worship "Dear Leader" and hate America and S. Korea, blaming the free countries for their problems rather than their dictator and his brutal regime.

I hope I am wrong about their liberation, but I think any hopes of a free(er) NK will probably come to as much fruition as any hopes about the results of the so-called Arab Spring.

"The cronyism continues, and only outrage from the American people can stop it."

This is true. However, I have no hope that we will put a stop to it, because the majority of Americans fit into one of the following categories:
1. don't know about it (thanks to both the media and American apathy towards finding out the truth on their own)
2. don't care, especially if they are getting their own government goodies (after all, all this corruption is just on "the rich's" dime and no skin off their own nose)

Get back to the Constitution and most of this will be fixed. Which is exactly why the vast majority of federal politicians don't want to get back to the Constitution.

The contempt for the rule of law that we see in the younger generation--the one that elected Obama, who, no surprise, has utter contempt for the rule of law himself--is frightening.

Agreed. Newt is a philanderer (multiple times), and if you cheat on the woman you promised to be faithful to your whole life long and which you supposedly love above all others, then why on earth would you be faithful to the American people, to whom you have far less attachment and love?

Newt says the right things. I just don't think we can trust him to follow through on many of them. Especially since his past statements show he wants to team up with Nancy Pelosi to fight man-made global warming and he also said he supports the individual mandate for health care. And in NY-23, he fought to the bitter end for ultra-RINO Dede Scozzafava over true conservative Doug Hoffman. It's party over principles for Newt.

Can't the legislature pass, and governor sign, right to work legislation? Why does it have to go on the ballot?

Isn't that the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) on the poster? The 10th Doctor (David Tennant) was the one who said "Allons y." :o)

It's a little embarrassing to admit but I think I *would* like to see David Tennant on my lawn with a Tardis...Christopher Eccleston would be OK too. (Matt Smith is too manic, frantic, and talkative.) I don't think I'd like to meet up with the Daleks though...the Adipose are more my speed, LOL!

"They all talked about corporate greed and how both sides were maintaining the status quo, acting as puppets of the wealthy. One man said, “As long as both sides get paid by the same people, nothing will change. We aren’t a democracy by the people anymore; it is controlled by the corporations. Take the money out of the system or you are just spinning your tires. "

This part, at least, I can agree with. BOTH parties are all about cronyism. The Republican establishment is about big money special interests and maintaining the status quo just as much as the Dems are, and most politicians care about retaining their cushy jobs, not what's right for We the People. When ordinary people try to change things they are facing a huge uphill battle. However, Danielle is correct that the OWS protestors' curatives for this problem are all wrong.

No no no!!! Christie is good for NJ, as conservative as you can probably get there, and using his position there to take on the unions and Planned Parenthood. While those things are awesome, his other positions on the 2nd amendment, illegal immigration/amnesty, and appointing an Islamist judge show that he is only part conservative. He should not run because we need someone who is a solid conservative on all those issues leading our country. Please stay in NJ and keep helping that troubled state.

Not so small is his sitting with Nancy Pelosi on the couch to say we all need to get together and do something about climate change.

Or his personal life closet full of skeletons that would make him a hypocrite if he embraced any of the family values/traditional values that any Republican will need to embrace to win.

I have a friend who lives in CT. She says Malloy was clearly elected by voter fraud. There were photocopied ballots and all sorts of "irregularities" such that my friend said it was like a "cartoon." But there are so many libs there (who LIKE the kind of stuff cited in this article), that no fuss was really kicked up about it.
