Well, in fairness the money should be a point enough to make a good movie. in theory it should work like this: 1) Hollywood makes a great movie like Star Trek or No Country 2) Hollywood also makes a parody movie that will be released the same day. 3) The consumers decide that the good movie is well good and go see it. 4) Hollywood execs make money off their risk and proceed to take more chances on different scripts that they might not have thought viable. In reality it goes like this: 1) Hollywood makes good movie for a low budget. 2) Hollywood makes another parody or remake with shitty and subpar directors 3) Consumers flock to see Not Another Epic Scary Movie II: Revenge of the Spartans or Weird Science: The remake. 4) Hollywood execs rake in massive amounts of cash and announce the sub-par director will now direct a comic book movie or a remake of the Breakfast Club.

"Some fans will be disappointed to learn that Tyrannosaurus Rex will most likely not be Zombie’s next film due to—per the interview—Hollywood’s current appetite for unoriginal, toned-down fare." It's kind of a relief to know that SOMEONE in Hollywood understands that most movies they're making now are shit.

/Film : DO NOT PUBLISH UNTIL FRIDAY - Movie Review: Star Trek (Dave's Take) - This Is Not Your Father's St

aside from Yelchin's butchering of the Russian accent. :P I can't find a flaw in the film. I seriously can't. Maybe its post movie euphoria speaking but I loved every minute. I thought Yelchin was fantastic as Chekov. Quinto nailed Spock, Pine.. Pine was.. well.. Pine IS Kirk. Urban, wow, you cannot praise him enough as Bones. Just everyone was great. (I loved the little moments too.. like when Nero address pine for the first time "Uhh.. umm.. Hello Christopher.. I'm.. I'm.. Nero.")

/Film : Did The Wolverine Workprint Leak Cost Fox $29 Million?

in my case, I didn't plan on seeing Wolverine at all. They trailers looked like shit and the leaked Deadpool images totally made me lose interest.. ..However, after Downloading the workprint it occurred to me that the movie was actually pretty good. I liked it, I liked it so much I wanted to actually see what happened with all the green screen footage, I seen it in theatres twice, once just to soak it in, the other to see all of the changes from the workprint (there isn't any aside from CGI and the bonus endings.)

Eddie Brock has always had the ability to have a "removable mask". The symbiote isn't his permanent look, he can go back to looking like Brock and does so many thousands of times in the comics.

I don't think a movie is the best way to approach Deadpool. His comics are probably damn near impossible to adapt to a conventional film. I personally believe an HBO series or something akin would be a better way to adapt Deadpool. (And that way we could keep the awesome "late Night Monolouge" openings his books normally start out with.)
