That Jurassic Park theme on harmonica made me cry with laughter. My husband is working from home today and is just looking at me like I'm crazy. He does NOT get it.

The atheist/rapist study made me sad this week. And reminded me (again) of the continued discrimination that they face and why I'm so totally proud of my husband for his courage, even though we disagree about issues of faith.

Also, I don't think there's a character on Parks & Rec that I don't adore.

So very with you on Community. Very, very with you. It's just plain genius and everyone should love it. Someone described it as every episode being "a very special episode" and that pretty much sums it up.

I haven't liked SNL since Phil Hartman was killed. I've liked sketches since then, but the show? Nope.

And Jessica is right about Christopher Moore, though I would suggest the more seasonal The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror. I mean, tis the season and all that.

And for music? NoiseTrade has an American Songwriters compilation out right now that is spectacular. It has Ben Sollee on it, so major points right there. Also, tons of great Advent/Christmas music. For free, yo.
