So, by the reasoning of Jesus Jobs a citizen shouldn't question or analyze the president or government of his/her country due to their own humble status? There is a creeping affliction in tech relating to compliance and the modeling of the modern user. It suggests to me that tech is moving from its original roots of bohemian and highly-creative thinking into a more dominating and egotistical dynamic where processes trump human experience. The ideal is a submissive user that is readily adaptable. Tech SHOULD be dominated by US, the user, NOT massive corporations whose only motive for existence is the wizard-like manipulation of mass collectives for immense profit. I haven't the slightest problem with massive profit, but as a user I will not stand idly by bowing to whims of gigantic tech machines who plunder humanity with a sterilized callousness. Fuck that!

I've been silently tracking issues relating to the pursuit of liberty since I was a freshmen at high school when I felt the extreme urge to escape the religious cult my parents had been allowing to dominate them for much of twenty years. The experience allowed me to peer into the mechanisms that form quiet but deadly changes wherein over time strong and actionable independence softens into the rueful plea for independence. Where the personal decision making process is demurely subordinated to external authority. The processes that create cults are more overt than the dynamics that drive a supposed liberty-based country to create and apply massive codified systems but the results between the processes are similar: conformity at all cost. Once the wheels of control are synchronized, little effort is required by massive entities working together over the space of years to slowly put in place a mechanism that takes over daily life to such an extent that the subjects (American citizens) actually JUSTIFY its existence and most will even embrace it. In my view, this is not a liberal or conservative issue. I do not buy into this notion that conservatives are more aware as a group. I am not convinced liberals are as free-wheeling as the right likes to think. The problem of restriction and domination is a national problem that has infested every corner of our existence. Law enforcement is rife with the rejection of principles relating to liberty. They are not taught to respect the common citizen. Some do, but, most are beasts of burden more than thrilled to carry the acidic water of federal and state statutes mimicking authoritarian rule in repressive countries. The intellectual capacity present in ALL news media outlets is malformed and has degenerated into pretty faces clothing empty skulls. The paper rags are little better, just toss the pretty faces in exchange for textual flourish. At this time the internet does appear to be providing unfiltered and raw sources of disapproval. This should continue unabated.

It is laughable that Obama would express sorrow for the violence when his own country's law enforcement brigades are just as capable of killing and inflicting mass violence as the corrupt Iranian guard is. The Iranian police probably draw their tactical behavior from American law enforcement educators. Yet people are concerned about how the Iranian protesters are treated. Seriously, wake the fck up. Frankly, if the Iranians need to hire help there is no better place to turn cold-blooded British cops. These guys are as Taliban as you get.
