I'd really like to read this book because it's far more effective to get insights on leadership (or any other skill for that matter) from someone's example.

INTJ as well. It drives people at work nuts since they're very much "feelers" :)

Generally what prevents me from speaking up is just being tired of being called a big meanie; I work in an environment with a lot of very sensitive people who don't take any sort of assertive attitude well, so there's a lot of time spent trying to "gently nudge" people when sometimes they need a shove, y'know?

Definitely a lovely place at certain times of year (April-June in particular is really, really nice, as is September). If you're curious, you can find out more about the Gospel Coalition at http://www.thegospelcoalition.org

These ones would be swell:

The Principle of the Path, by Andy Stanley
The Christian Atheist, by Craig Groeschel

Hoping to attend the Gospel Coalition's regional event in Hamilton Ontario this April. D.A. Carson and Mike Bullmore will be speaking, so it should be an edifying time.

This sounds like an interesting read - I've been reading a number of leadership and work culture books over the last year, such as Why Work Sucks (and How to Fix It), Fake Work, Trophy Kids, etc... I'm really intrigued to see if the concepts line up and how they might be used to help not only me, but my coworkers find some enjoyment from their careers.
