Sounds good Baron. I think you may want to send a question to them as well as a fish tale. The question is: If no one has read the bill...how do you know if it's disinformation??? (This question is for Obama and Co.) Just sayin'

Yes, and he also says he wants forced sterilization (wants to put stuff in the water) and abortion. You should also check out Dr. Eric Pianka, a professor at the University of Texas (another prize environmentalist...sarcasm) These people are not just scary, they're evil.

 IntenseDebate Notification
I actually used to be registered no party affiliation, but had to finally pick a party to get on the ballot. So, needless to say...I don't have any loyalty to either party. I'm probably closest to Libertarian in ideaology. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

 IntenseDebate Notification
Nah...I'm suggesting that you undermine it, or if you prefer get enough people in your district to register for a third party (ex: Libertarian) so that you can get your candidate on the ballot. They have to let you do this, it's the law. How do you think the Libs drove the govt. so far to the left? I think this could be more effective than switching parties every election.

 IntenseDebate Notification
What you say there is true, and the person elected to office (regardless of party) should represent ALL of his constituents. If he does not...and the majority of people in his district feel disenfrancised they will problay vote him out of office when his term of office is up. Perhaps they may even work together to put up another candidate who will represent them. What I was refering to is the primary system as it exists now (in states that have a closed primary) In the general election, one's party affiliation doesn't matter (Anyone can vote across party lines, or even do a write in vote for Mick Mouse if they want). It's only in the primary that party affiliation matters. The purpose of the primary is to select a candidate to represent the party in the upcoming general election. (Prior to the primary system, candidate selection used to be done by party deligates at the convention. I only mention this to point out that if things could be changed in the past, they can be changed in the future as well). However, until change can be affected, it may be a better strategy for you to pick pick a party and vote for more conservative candidates or organize a third party in your district so you can get your candidate on the ballot for the primary. I initially suggested the Democrat party, because if through primarys they a driven further to the right the Republicans would naturally move right as well. Just a thought. Actually Rush Limbaugh suggested donig something along these lines in the last presidential primary.

 IntenseDebate Notification
Yes, you can do that as well, but it's a lot of trouble to go to considering that you can vote for anyone you want to vote for in the general election (no matter what one's party affiliation is). You may be better off registering Democrat so that (in the Primary) you can vote for the most conservative candidate to represent that party in the General Election...Hmmm, just a thought..

The problem with registering unaffiliated is that you are unable to vote in the primaries in a lot of states. You may want to check with your county voting board before you do this.

No, we're not on the road to serfdom...we're already there. When the first bailouts were passed...that's the day we became corporate serfs, and it has only gotten worse with each successive bailout.

 IntenseDebate Notification
Odd, but the one place this hasNOT happened to me is atWalmart.
I guess this means that we now have to pick up our own pizzas and pay cash. Seriously, all kidding aside...has anyone else noticed this disturbing trend in stores and museums? The sales clerk/ ticket sales person wants to know your phone number, zip code, and/or e-mail (and this is when you pay cash). When I ask the reason why; they answer either company policy or just tracking customer demographics. Creepy...huh. Needless to say I never give a straight answer. Keep in mind, if you decide to give fake information...the area code, exchange, and zip code have to match (and don't give anyone else's information)
