Not as disappointed in Madden roster updates as I am about the "promised" online franchise updates or "server-side development that would make changes so much easier" bologna that was crammed down our throats. See the quote below from EA's own blog on Madden 10:

-- Above all else, the most important change is that Online Franchise is built around a server-based architecture. What that means is that very little support for the mode lives on the game disc itself…it lives online on our servers. The main reason we went that route was so we could add more features and do extra tweaks and tuning based on community feedback even after the game ships (so our fans don’t have to necessarily wait until Madden NFL 11 for something new to appear). --

The only change I've seen to this day in online franchise is the correction to fix where the logos were flip-flopped on the game stats page after games when viewing your league online...so much for that feature huh?

I thought this thing had potential and was truly excited when I saw the initial previews and was glued the first couple weeks. But as the season has progressed, I have found myself turned off by the lethargic story speed and terrible character development.

They're trying to have too many stories going on at one time without even completing one of them. My fiancee and I watched the last 3 episodes on DVR over the weekend and the most recent one we both commented to each other on the lack of progress. She even pointed out that they seemed to be trying to emulate LOST with this last story and how they revealed Bryce and his story/vision. Sorry, FF but you can't even hold a candle to LOST.

Sroeland -- Do you enjoy College Hoops 2K7 more than 2K8? Asking because I had only played 2K8 since that was when I first got next gen, but I'm interested in getting your take on what makes you play 2K7 over 2K8. Could be something I'm missing out on.

I agree. Jerseys (and color in general) look a bit desaturated in comparison to Live.

I'm really hoping that they have the locker feature similar to what they have in NCAA football that will let people name/update the rosters and share with other users.
