Big Hollywood : 'A Different Kind of Truth' Review: Van Halen 4.0 Rooted in Past Glory

Dunno, in hindsight Malloy did the right thing by not accepting the gig. Right now I'm a bigger Chickenfoot fan than a Van Halen fan. Sammy still has the pipes.

Big Journalism : MSM Looks For Any Reason To Declare Tea Party Dead

I remember the ranting and raving by the MSM about how insignificant the TEA Party was before the November 2010 elections. That is why I made it a point to watch the midterm election returns on MSNBC and watch the wags implode. Must-See TV.

Big Hollywood : Daily Call Sheet: TV Goes Way Back, Kurt Russell News, Wiig-less 'Bridesmaids' Sequel?

I love the Linktacular. My take why none of Brad Brevet's top 10 made the list is this. If you look at the films that made the most coin, most of them are fantastical, comedies, action, etc, etc. Maybe this was a year where nobody wanted to do any heavy lifting with their brains or watch a movie about how messed up life can be or be preached to. Instead we just wanted to take a 2 to 2 1/2 hour vacation from reality.

Big Journalism : Is Operation Fast And Furious Finally Going To Be Reported?

Really now, who needs the MSM for news? If you have an inquiring, objective mind, you can filter out the blather and find the information you seek and in greater detail on the net. IMO, the people that depend on the MSM for information are the ones that are not really paying attention anyway.

Makes me angry the way the media tries to rush to judgement on who the candidate should be when we have not even begun the Primary season. There is a ways to go and who knows who will be in the lead 2 months from now. All of these Republican candidates need to start running against Obama's policies instead of beating each other up.
