We put it on .com first to get the maximum amount of testing in, especially for browser issues. Since people who test betas and RCs on .org tend to be bleeding edge users, we seldom get reports about things like IE6 or smaller screen resolutions.

Before the election, we were more concerned about getting Obama elected. Everything else like Prop 8 (or the Florida version, Amendment 2) was secondary to that, with all of our energy spent getting the vote out for Obama.

How dare you, fellow long-winded blogger. :D Jonathan's article on blogging tips for disasters also reminded me of an unfinished article on the same subject from a different perspective, so stay tuned while I unbury that article and put some fresh paint on it and finally publish it. And you are so right. Bloggers are becoming the next journalists, and it is important for all of us who self publish to understand the responsibilities that blogging entails, as reporters on life as well as news. Great point.

That's about as much e-mail as I get too, but I find that this is still useful for helping me manage the e-mail that I have and determining how I have to organize my e-mail.

How about this: older computers are longer-lasting than newer computers; they don't make 'em like they used to. ;) Oh, and leave it to us to predict when the next model of a computer comes out by our buying habits. :P
