That is a really interesting article. I've always wondered if methods to reduce traffic jams should be taught as part of driver's ed (i.e. once you are through a bottleneck, accelerate as quickly/safely as possible to reduce congestion behind you). I wonder how long it will be until we have computer-controlled drivers out on the road. If every car was integrated into a network, we could all get to work without much congestion.

I guess that's what the train is like in a way.

I too have a hatred for horrendous drivers. But, alas, I live in the mid-atlantic region, which I believe is full of the worst drivers in the country (or close to it).
