Hannibal Rex - Xbox 360 Wireless Controller won't connect

Thank you Mr. Hart! I went to the goddamn xbox website and printed out several pages of crap because I thought it'd help me get my ol' lady's wireless controller to turn into something other than a fooking $60 brick. Dead wrong. Instead I had to follow Google here. If you hadn't have posted this, I probably would have bludgeoned someone to death with it at the shop where I bought it at. Seriously, Microsoft should pay you some money since you know how to fix this problem better than they do.

I will have an empty disposable cup on my desk with an old tea bag in it and she doesn't touch it. I think that is best. If I wanted it gone, I can reach over two inches and put it in the garbage can. I try to recycle and reuse my cup as much as possible.

Mom - My office

You might consider putting a really great piece of art just to the right of the door, so that you can look just to the left of your computer monitor and see it. It might help to keep you inspired. Or give your eyes a place to rest. Or you could put up a picture of something that you want to buy so that you'll be reminded that that's why you're working. Your Dad used to keep a picture of us on a ski trip to Park City in his office for inspiration. Or a picture that simply makes you smile.

It's scary to me to think that the government can set its sights on any industry it feels is too successful and put its hand in that industry's pocket.

Mischele - Discussion topic

All I can say about this is: Duh! Stuckey's executives! You should have started moving to the interstates at *least* 50 years ago. Like when interstates started being heavily used Their market is motorists, in particular tourists, so they should have moved their business locations to where the most motorists lurk. That's a half century of dwindling business. Even a non-Wharton graduate (or perhaps a first grader) might be able to spot that down trend on a really jazzy flowsheet.....the arrows are all pointing DOWN! Okay, no more caffeine for me today. Sheesh.

Leah - A strangeness

In 2006, a coworker of mine at DCL was murdered outside his apartment door in Metro West, in a botched robbery, bringing home dinner after work to his 24-year old bride of five month. He was 29. One of my close friends from home, who was my college roommate and went to highschool with me, was diagnosed with late-stage melanoma. She has a husband and two kids. I think about this kind of thing all the time. It scares me how things like this happen, to good people, seemingly randomly. It makes me tell the people I love verbally that I love them, every time I hang up the phone or walk out the door in the morning. I now try my best not to leave things unsaid with those people I care about.
