It is simply to make people interested in visiting Nepal more aware of what they are getting themselves into. I feel that in large part my disappointments in visiting Nepal were the result of unrealistic expectations. I did quite a bit of reading prior to my trip and spoke to several people. I only heard wonderful things. Had I been aware of some of the issues that Andrew explained in great detail, and which I have done a poorer job of doing, I would have been better prepared for my time there. I suspect that few people would describe me as a whining miserable fucker. If you'd met me on the trip I doubt you would have even known I wasn't having a good time. But hey, misperceived anonymity is great, isn't it? I hope you have a wonderful trip.

I'm really hoping not to meet and whining miserable fuckers like yourselves when I'm out there.

I swear off U-Haul every time I use them, wait just long enough to forget the exact reasons, and use them again. I'll check out the pods for sure, next time.

Ian - U-Haul Haulin' to California

Man, those trailers are so sketchy! We rented one in Montana to drive back to Seattle and had to laugh at the response from the rental place when we told them the lights didn't work on the trailer. "Are you driving at night?" Ok, it's ILLEGAL to have trailer lights that don't work but here was the OWNER of the trailer telling us it didn't matter! There loss I guess. Our next move had nothing to do with Uhaul. Try a company like Door to Door http://www.doortodoor.com who uses moving pods. I thought it would be much more expensive but ended up cheaper and way easier to deal with. Than again, you wouldn't have the opportunity to drive through those amazing parks.
