J.J. - This was a huge help to us, esp. since we are both only WIFI (no service subscribed yet). I like how I can now add or update the calendar offline in the native calendar app, then select my Google Calendar, save the event, and then once in WIFI range, it syncs automatically to my Google calendar (which my wife has added to her iPhone, thereby automatically syncing us both). Got us both feeling very conjugal now ;)

No one could possibly know I am at these places without accessing my iPhone. Whether you're concerned about personal safety (like me) or corporate privacy, there are some simple things you can do to prevent unfriendly people from accessing your location, address books, emails, and texts on your iPhones. 1. LOCATION SERVICES (in iPhone settings). Relatively easy for a hacker to access...and not just through weird apps. Consider setting Location Services to off, and then only turn it on before using whatever applications need to use Location Services. Set "Find My iPhone" to off or anyone who accesses your iCloud/ iTunes password can see exactly where you are on a map. Again, it's safer not to use "Find My iPhone", which is accessed easily with any device connected to iCloud. Consider not using a mac.com email address and instead use a different email account service to connect with your iPhone, so that if someone does get into your iCloud account (or iTunes which has the same password) then your emails aren't also available to the unfriendly snooper. (A good rule of thumb is to spread your personal information out via different companies instead of having everything consolidated at Apple or Google.) I am also not using iCloud for Address Book syncing until Apple has worked out some of the iCloud privacy kinks. 3. BLUETOOTH. If you don't use a bluetooth device with your iPhone, absolutely set your bluetooth to off in Settings/General. 4. WI-FI. Likewise, keep this set to off, and turn it only when you need it and when you know the network is legit. Especially if you have unlimited data, you'll still get all your emails, and as a perk your battery will last longer. 5. FIND MY FRIENDS.
